High School Program Instructional Guidelines
The curriculum offers courses and skills required by the Indiana Department of Education.
Three session times are available to provide the best option for our students to be able to attend the program and complete the coursework they need to catch up with their classmates and graduate.
|1. Session….7:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.||Students currently enrolled at Southport|
|2. Session….2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
No transportation is provided for session 2.

M.A.P. provides students who have difficulties in the regular educational setting, an opportunity to continue learning in a smaller, slower paced environment. Classes are 80% computer based with weekly social skills and counseling opportunities within the building. The focus is to develop positive behavior, academic, and social skills. The goal of MAP is to return the student to his or her home school, ready to contribute to a positive school culture on a daily basis.
The R.E.A.C.H. program for middle school provides support with academics, behavior management interpersonal relations and social skills.
The focus of the program is to prepare students with the social, academic and behavioral skills needed to participate in their neighborhood school.

The C.I.O.P. ½ day program provides the same support for elementary students that the REACH program provides for middle and high school students.
SOAR to Success
The SOAR Program is a program for elementary students that need a little added encouragement and direction.
