In my free time I enjoy playing co-ed softball, crafting, party planning, and watching movies. I love teaching because I love making a difference in a child’s life, whether that is just making them smile to overcoming a life-long fear. It is so fulfilling to see the progress the young minds can make in a year or two. I believe that everyone learns at their own pace and in their own way. The best type of teaching is when is doesn’t feel like teaching, meaning that the children are so engaged and motivated in your lesson that they just think they are playing when actually they are learning important skills. I feel so lucky to have found a passion that I enjoy coming to work everyday because I know I will always be laughing or smiling.
