Students at Southport High School spent 3 days sharing personal stories and information about immigration to the United States.  Students traced the journey on giant floor maps while hearing about personal stories, learned about the necessary documents needed for the immigration process, experienced what it would be like to live in a refugee tent, and had the opportunity to “take” the citizenship test.  It was a great experience for all students and teachers involved!
