In Fall 2019, Perry Township Schools launched its inaugural Perry Township Leadership Academy.
The Academy is an engaging, yearlong learning experience for select Perry Township community leaders and parents to gain a deeper understanding of our school district.
This year, every Leadership class will be virtual. We recognize that some families are managing in-person learning for their students while others are navigating remote learning. Therefore, we believe that a virtual meeting may be more convenient for this year’s participants.
Administrators provide Academy participants with a transparent look into each area of running a district including academics, finance, operations, transportation, and more.
The Academy was designed with three goals in mind for participants:
Check out the video below to see what last year’s participants are saying about the Academy.
Academy participants will attend eight, one-hour virtual classes that will meet at 8 a.m. on either the first or second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month from October – May:

Each class will be held virtually.
Upon completion of the program, participants will be celebrated during a special graduation ceremony. We invite Academy graduates to become passionate ambassadors who share our district’s vision with our community, as well as dialogue with district leaders about future projects.
