Tammie Stewart from Northwestern University’s Midwest Academic Talent Search (NUMATS) is coming to PMMS Monday, Dec. 10, at 6:30pm to talk about above-grade-level testing opportunities and the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship. Parents of high ability students in grades 5-9 are welcome to attend.
Students in grades 7-9 can take the SAT and/or ACT tests. This gives students a chance to take above grade level tests early before the score counts. It can help relieve test anxiety, help them to increase their score through repeated testing, or just feel more comfortable in the testing environment and with the test. There is a fee associated with the program and some financial assistance may be available on the website https://www.ctd.northwestern.edu/program/numats#details
