Beginning April 13, we are excited to continue offering learning opportunities for your students.  New material will be provided online every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students will need to check their “” email address regularly to receive updates from their teachers.

To continue this work, students will need access to a reliable computer, laptop, or Chromebook with Internet access. We do not recommend trying to complete the work on a cell phone or iPad style device.  

Student Chromebooks will be available for students at Southport Middle and Southport Academy on Monday March 30 and Wednesday April 1 at 11am-1pm and 5:00pm-6:30pm. Enter the far south entrance to the parking lot off Keystone and proceed behind the building.   

 You will be able to drive through to receive a device if you need one. Please have your student in the vehicle with you to receive a device.  If you already have a reliable system at home, you do not need a student Chromebook.

We realize that not all families may have Internet access at home. You may be eligible for a free or low cost Internet service from Comcast. Visit or call 1-855-846-8376.  You may already have unlimited hotspot usage on your cell phone, please contact your cell phone provider. Many of the cell phone providers have added unlimited hotspot access to your current plan.
