Sixth grader students  in Monica Miles’ Math class at Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy collected data for a math lesson by challenging themselves and their classmates in cookie stacking! Team members served as stackers, counters and catchers, as the groups worked to stack as high as they could in 30 seconds. Teams recorded the number of cookies before each topple, and those numbers were used as data sets for students to practice finding the mean, median, mode and range of a set of numbers.
