Stacy O’Brien, Mita Sangvhi, Amy Wiley, Julie Zachary, Hiba Al Awadh, Nichole Seal, Brenna Macias represented Perry at the WIDA conference.
Earlier in the fall, a group of seven Perry educators attended the National WIDA conference. This conference aims to enhance English Learning instructional practices, model family engagement, and enhance schooling experiences for all students. The attendees, then came and shared their new learning with EL teachers and Assistant Principals. We, as a district, strive to consistently equip our educators with new strategies, tools, and spaces to collaborate, so that our students will continue to grow academically, socially, and behaviorally!
