The Green Fair is coming to Douglas MacArthur Elementary School on April 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Learn how you can help make a difference with helping protect our planet.

What is a Green Fair? Environmental friendly organizations will have booths set up to share what they are doing for the environment–Citizens Energy Group, Environmental Education Association of Indiana, Green With Indy, Leave No Trace, Sierra Club, Hoosier Environmental Council, Friends of White River, Sus-tain Indy Rain Gardens , Girl Scouts  and Boy Scouts.  There will be collection boxes for the following used items to be recycled: eye glasses (donated to the Lions Club), batteries, books, paper, magazines, glass, plastic, pop tabs (donated to Ronald McDonald House), ink and toner cartridges (donated to Recycle4vets), old towels and old blankets (donated to the Southside Animal Shelter). The School Warehouse will be selling and buying gently used uniforms. Enter a drawing for a free girls and boys bike!
