Rosa Parks-Edison Elementary School’s 3rd-5th grade students are currently participating in a floor hockey unit.  The students will have the opportunity to experience the challenge of maneuvering a hockey stick as part of a team.

Later in January, these students will be studying nutrition labels and learning how to use this information to make healthy food choices.  They will discuss the significance of serving size, calories, calories from fat, % daily value and more.
