The fourth graders at Mary Bryan Elementary School took their annual field trip to Conner Prairie Interactive Park.  As a part of the fourth grade state curriculum, the MB Pioneers visited different aspects of Indiana History from the year 1816-1863 by visiting the following at Conner Prairie:  French Fur Trading Post; Lenape Indian Camp; Prairietown; Animal Encounters, and Civil War Journey.  The students enjoyed learning history from the first person perspective.  They also have a better understanding of their school mascot … the pioneer.
