Five Perry Meridian High School students have been accepted into the IU Honors Program in Foreign Language.
Since 1962, the Indiana University Program in Foreign Languages has been sending Indiana high school students abroad to not only immerse themselves in language and culture, but also to gain a stronger sense of self. This program is an academically focused study abroad program for dedicated high school students who are in their third year or higher of their foreign language. It is designed for students who wish to challenge himself or herself on all levels; academically, personally, socially, emotionally and physically. These students will be living with a host family, engaging daily in the host culture and participating in excursions to regional sites over a period of 6 ½ – 7 weeks during the months of June and July.
