Thanksgiving morning, over 40 students from the MacArthur GT Gym Club and Homecroft’s Hornet Heat Club combined to participate in the 2^nd Annual “Turkey Bowl” to raise awareness for the Ben Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The schools came together for the second consecutive Thanksgiving to enjoy some flag football fun, be active, create life long memories, and raise well over $350 for the Ben Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Ben Smith was a well-known football player during his time at Perry Meridian.  After passing away from cancer, his family remembers and honors Ben by awarding a scholarship to a PMHS senior football player that exhibits Ben’s toughness, determination, and work ethic.
