Students investigate the new 3D printer in the Perry Meridian Middle School library’s makerspace. The printer uses spools of PLA plastic to create a three dimensional object based on a computerized design and is the most recent addition to the hands-on learning available to students through the library. This project was made possible through a grant awarded to Mrs. Leslie Preddy, library media specialist, from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
