Preschool students in Ms. Erin Westfall’s class in the Early Childhood Academy have been talking about all aspects of winter. Currently, they are focusing on the animals of winter. Books are being read and hibernation is being discussed.  The class also talked about the animals who venture out in the snow: what they do, where they go, and their tracks they leave in the snow.   Using plastic animals from their classroom and shaving cream as their ‘snow’, they created animal footprints in the snow!
