April is school library month and April 9th-17th is Educator Appreciation Days. It’s a great time for everyone, young and old, to reflect on how the school library made an impact on their education. With technology being the driving force behind constant changes in today’s school library there are opportunities, this month, to come see how these destinations for learning are continually evolving to meet the demands of today’s students.
Perry Township School’s is fortunate to have on our staff the President of the American Association of School Librarians, Leslie Preddy. Mrs. Preddy, author of School Library Makerspaces, is school librarian at Perry Meridian Middle School. She will be speaking Saturday, April 9th at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Barnes & Noble. Please see the graphic posted here for more information.
