As Abraham Lincoln Elementary students work on skills such as telling time, counting money and reading, a special group of students has also been working on raising funds to travel to community businesses and practice their skills in real life.  Mrs. Wampler’s and Ms. Gridley’s students traveled to Barnes and Noble Friday to experience reading in a cafe, purchasing a snack, and selecting and buying a book that interest them.  We want to say thanks to the Perry Township Education Foundation and one of our community partners, Barnes and Noble, for making these “sweet” educational experiences possible.
