In the spirit of giving, the Mary Bryan first grade students and their teachers participated in the annual Bears on Patrol. Each first grader presented a Marion County sheriff with a teddy bear to keep in his or her car to comfort kids in times of crisis. This event has been going on since the opening of Mary Bryan in 1986. The kids sing some teddy bear songs as they delivered their bears to the Sheriffs and gave a big “high five”.
