Friends from Charlene’s Angels, a group with adult members from the special needs community, visited Douglas MacArthur to share with each other in celebration of our unique abilities. The Spotlight Singers performed three songs for our visitors as well as for all 4th and 5th graders. Each grade level participated in activities and watched videos that shared ideas about what it means to have a disability. It is always fun to share how we are all alike as well as how we are different. We live in a great community where we all embrace each other with respect!
