Southport Middle School celebrated Chinese Cultural Day! All SMS 7th grade social studies students participated in three unique stations. Students learned about and created Chinese lanterns and competed in the first annual chopstick games. As a grand finale, they designed dragon scales that were sewn on a dragon that was over 100 feet long. A dragon dance was performed with their creation!
