Perry Township School Police have been notified by Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department of a suspicious vehicle cruising our township.

The vehicle is described as a (approximately) 10-year-old silver or white minivan. The driver has been described as a white male in his mid-40s with dirty long, brown hair, and a medium build.

He was spotted in the area near the Nature Preserve Park in the Glenns Valley area, but it did NOT occur at the school.

Police were told the man tried to lure a 4-year-old into the van by asking whether the child wanted a dinosaur. There was no physical attempt to grab the child, but the parent did file a report.

IMPD, along with Perry Township School Police, will be on alert for this vehicle. We ask our community to remain vigilant as well.
