PMMS art teacher, Mrs. Denise Britt, taught a unit on O’Keeffe. Her 8th grade students discovered O’Keeffe’s unique style of looking at the world. Students then transformed what they learned about the artist and created their own O’Keeffe style art works.

The art work of PMMS student, Lawn Pui, was chosen in the IMA contest, winning the alternate spot. Five pieces were chosen from over 350 applicants in the age bracket of Mrs. Britt’s students. Congratulations, Lawn!
