The Perry Meridian Middle School Mustang Speech Team turned in a strong performance Saturday at the Muncie Burris Invitational. The Mustangs placed third with every entry earning ribbons.

First place finishers were: Sasha Sears in Radio, Lainey Scifres in Poetry, and Cara Geohagan in Prose

In Radio-Moses Mang placed second

Duo Competition saw the team of Grant Christian and Sean Smith take second place. Diana Pyle and Alexis Ellis were 8th, with Piper Clark and Lainey Scifres capturing 10th place

Elise Houk placed 4th in Poetry.

In Prose Kate Rogers was 5th

Discussion saw Maggie Sears take 3rd and Sam Hoke 7th

In Impromptu Meredith Cash was 5th and Nun Za Lian 9th

Earning Ribbons in Original Oratory were: Daisy Robles 4th, Gillian Heizman 7th, Allyson Haver 8th, and Robby Simms 9th
