Mrs. Swengel’s 7th grade Language Arts students at SMS have been reading non-fiction articles about sharks and discussing how important sharks are to the Earth. The students then chose one shark to research.  Using various websites and printed material for their research, students are creating a graphic aid on a shark which incorporates text features. This graphic aid will be presented to the class.
