Clinton Young 5th graders continued their annual lock-in tradition. It is a way to culminate their year(s) at the school. At this event, 5th graders work on team building activities using hands-on manipulatives to solve complex problems. Mr. Mike Bandy, a community volunteer and scientist from Ely Lilly, discussed pollution and its effects on people and the environment. Students also dissected owl pellets to determine the diet of an owl. CY 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Danna O’Hare, Mrs. Katie Floerke, Mrs. Kristina Davis and Mr. Ryan Gomez, organized the event.
