Mr. Jerry Larsen, Emergency Services Director for the Salvation Army in Indiana, visited students on Team Encore at Perry Meridian Sixth Grade Academy recently to kick off their Disaster Project Based Learning unit. Students were able to tour the Salvation Army’s mobile canteen truck, which they use to bring much needed food and water to disaster sites.
