Some students at Perry Meridian Sixth Grade Academy have been working with staff member and musician, Mr. Ron Reiss, during their exploratory Discovery time. Students first completed an interest form and a few were chosen to participate in this learning opportunity. In two weeks-time the students learned various parts of the acoustic guitar, basic music theory, four simple chords, played songs together and performed ‘recitals’ on their own.
