Mr. Stahlhut’s fourth grade class at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School has been observing the development of two litters of mice.  Marshmallow and Minnie Mouse gave birth just days after their arrival to room 305.  Twenty-two pink, blind, and hairless baby mice have entertained students for ten days and will soon be leaving the nest and running on the exercise wheel.  Students are logging their development daily and some students will be adopting them as pets in three weeks.
