Blake Evans, Southport High School class of 2017,  was honored as a “Prime Time 25” player for his record breaking season during The Indiana Football Digest annual “Griddy Awards” on Sunday March 20, 2016. This ceremony honors players, coaches, teams, and members of the media from all over the state for outstanding performances during the 2015 football season. Blake will appear on the cover of The Indiana Football Digest, along with the other players selected, this fall. This is the second consecutive year a Southport High School player has been selected as a “Prime Time 25” player. Luke Johnston received the honor last year.
