University of Indianapolis college students meet with ALE second graders on Friday afternoon to teach science through a program with Mrs. Mary Gobbett, a former ALE parent.  On a recent Friday, the second graders in Mrs. Marinda Grove’s class joined their college buddies in digging through owl pellets to discover the bones left over from the owl’s most recent meal.  Students were excited to find vertebrates, jaw bones, and even full skulls of mice, shrew, and other small animals!
