Congratulations to the Falcon Unified Track Team for capturing the first ever Conference Indiana Championship.  The Falcons shared the title with the Bloomington North Cougars this past Saturday.  Unified Track is a joint venture with the IHSAA and Indiana Special Olympics.  It teams up Falcon athletes with Special Olympic Falcons in a competitive atmosphere.  The Perry Meridian team is coached by teacher Maggie Cooper and consists of 6 athletes and 10 partner athletes who were pulled from various other Falcon fall and winter sports teams.  Athletes participate in 2 events each out of the 5 possible, including the shot put, standing/running long jump. 100M dash, 400M dash, and the 4X100M Relay.  The Falcon 4x100M relay team of Martin, Millbrook, Gambrall, and Harris took first place overall in the conference meet.  The team will participate in the IHSAA Unified Track Sectional Saturday, May 28th at Brebeuf High School at 1:00pm.
