Perry Township Schools is partnering with Food Rescue by collecting unopened food, in our cafeterias, from breakfast and lunch.

Jeremiah Gray Elementary, Southport High School, and Perry Meridian Middle School have taken the lead in the pilot project with the remainder of Perry Township schools scheduled to begin at the beginning of next school year.

This picture shows 5^th grade students from Jeremiah Gray helping to inventory the food collected for the day.  Food Rescue picks up weekly and distributes the food to area food banks.
