Former Indianapolis Colt Daniel Muir brought a strong message about making good decisions to Southport 6th graders Tuesday. The 6-2 300 pound defensive lineman out of Kent State played for the Colts from 2008-to-2012. He told students to make good choices or be prepared to pay the consequences. He said poor decision making during his high school years and at the beginning of his pro career led to lost opportunities and near tragedy. He said playing for the Colts and Tony Dungy gave him a chance to play with some of the smartest players in the NFL letting students know that Colts players had strong academic backgrounds as well as great football skills. The Southport Academy students had a chance to ask Muir a lot of questions following his remarks. To see more pictures log onto the Perry Township Schools Facebook page.
