Congratulations to all of the SLC educators and their families. They held a free book night where families of struggling readers came in for some food, a little learning about what they could do at home to help support and build a reader, door prizes, and every child (even younger siblings) went home with free books to begin building their home bookshelf. Kudos to the leadership of Angi Gunkel and all the SLC staff for everything they did to support the evening.
