Perry Meridian High School graduate Mitchell Garrity committed to Purdue’s baseball program back in the fall of his junior year but didn’t let that be the highlight of his Falcon career. Garrity’s senior year came to a climax this summer while receiving District G Player of the Year and being named to the North/South All-Star Team. These accolades resulted in Garrity becoming a finalist for 2016 Mr. Baseball. During his time at Perry, Garrity also made IHSBCA Academic All-State, Rawlings All-American, 1st Team USA-Indiana, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team Marion County and All-Conference 2014, 2015, and 2016. Garrity served as Class President his junior and senior years and a member of the NHS. He graduated ninth in his class with a 4.3+ GPA.
Best of Luck to Mitchell as he leaves Perry Township Schools to represent the Falcons in a Purdue baseball jersey.
