Ms. Darlene Hardesty will be reporting to the principals office at William Henry Burkhart Elementary in the fall where she’s been assistant principal since 2012. She will be replacing principal John Happersberger, who’s retiring. Ms. Hardesty, pictured with her parents and Mr. Happersberger, came to Burkhart in 2005 as a fifth grade teacher.
