Students in Mrs. Keller’s kindergarten class at Henry Burkhart Elementary School have been learning about the life and paintings of Vincent Van Gogh.  HB art teacher, Mrs. Penish, focused an activity on one of his most famous paintings, Starry Night. In art class, every child made a “star” by painting a wet coffee filter with watercolors. These stars were added to the night sky background and a beautiful kindergarten interpretation of Starry Night was created!
