Construction on the Homecroft Kindergarten Center is off to a good start despite the rain.

Crews have put in a silt fence and fiber logs to help with drainage. A temporary fence has been installed as well as construction signage. Power crews were on site Wednesday starting to redirect power lines.

In the coming days crews will begin to remove the shelter house, continue grading out the north bus drive, continue site clearing and complete new sidewalks on Southport Road.
