Did you know that students entering Kindergarten, 6^th grade and 12^th grade are required by state law to receive booster shots? Perry Township Schools tracks students’ shot records and on Monday, August 15^th, 2016, we will exclude students who are not current with vaccinations from attending school. Please check your child’s immunization record and have your child vaccinated, if necessary.

Grades and Required Booster Shots:

K: Needs Hepatitis A booster (2^nd dose)

6: Needs MCV (meningitis) and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)

12: Needs MCV booster (2^nd dose)

If your child still requires immunizations, make an appointment at your doctor’s office or with the Marion County Public Health Department. The health department clinics provide free vaccinations for children who have Medicaid Part A, and a flat fee of $20 for all others (cash or check only).
