IndyRAGE, an All -Girls robotics event took place Saturday at Perry Meridian High School.  Cyber Blue, the robotics team at PMHS, hosted the event. Fourteen teams from around the midwest, including PMHS and the Southport CyberCards, played the FIRST Robotics Challenge game “Recycle Rush”.  The event was focused on removing barriers and empowering young women to pursue education and careers in STEM fields. In addition to all-girl drive teams, there was a networking luncheon and panel discussion to let the young women meet and ask questions of female professionals from several different fields.  Rolls-Royce, who has sponsored Cyber Blue since the team began in 1999, sponsored the event and provided several volunteers. AndyMark, a robotics focused company in Kokomo, donated the field and several key personnel to make the event a success.
