Kindergarten Families at JGE were invited to a Kindergarten Data Night on Thursday, Sept. 22nd.  Parents had the opportunity to learn about data folders that will be coming home with our kindergarten students soon.  Classroom teachers modeled how we track first sound fluency, letter naming fluency, and reading comprehension skills.  In addition, we were thrilled to offer translators for all families from different elementary schools in Perry Township.  They ensured all our EL families received information.  Lots of suggestions were given in addition to materials and make-it take-it items for home.  It was a great opportunity for all of our K families to learn how we can work together to ensure their child is on the path to reading success!
