The Douglas MacArthur Elementary School PTA celebrated Founder’s Day and the 50th birthday of the school. The Founder’s Day Program honors our strong PTA unit. Mrs. Laura Long and Mrs. Fay Thomas received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of their time and dedication given to DM children. Former PTA presidents and past Lifetime Achievement recipients were recognized for their years of service to Douglas MacArthur Elementary. The school’s 2nd grader students were participated in the celebration by singing and reciting fun facts about DM from the last 50 years.
