Mrs. Allen’s 7th grade Language Arts students at SMS are studying literary elements.  Students researched items like metaphor, simile, alliteration, and personification and made connections to their use in media.  Students found songs, commercials, TV shows, and other media representations of each device and then presented their findings to the class.
