Mrs. Susan Blossom’s kindergarten class at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School has been learning about George Washington and the American Colonial Period.  To explore more of this era, the class held a tea party.  The children dressed for the occasion: boys donned tri cornered hats and the girls wore kerchief caps.  These were popular styles during the 18th century for ladies and gentlemen.
