One of Perry Meridian Middle Schools small learning communities was recognized by the NCAA on Thursday May 5th. Victor Hill the Associate Director of Team Works Community Programs & Youth Clinics for the NCAA showed up at PMMS to present a large plaque to the school. PMMS was one of only four schools in the entire state, and the only middle school, to receive the award.
“I am very proud of this group and the work that is being recognized through the NCAA”, stated proud principal Dave Rohl, Ed.S. “This partnership is making an impact on our students and in our community! These educators and students are not only representing our school, but our district in fantastic ways”.
The award is given to schools for their community volunteer service efforts.
