A group of 20 NHS members from PMHS went to the Gleaners Food Bank.  For two hours, they assembled BackSacks.  A BackSacks is a grocery bag filled with kid-friendly, shelf-stable foods which provide food and drinks for children at home on weekends.  Gleaners distributes about 10,000 BackSacks every week.  The PMHS group made 2,040 BackSacks (the average group bags about 1,400) during their time at the food bank.  If anyone wishes to help Gleaners in any way, go to www.gleaners.org.
