Using non-standard measurement at circle time, children in Mrs. Norris’ class at the Early Childhood Academy used straws to measure chairs and each other!  Shown here, Andrew measured 5 straws long.  His length was then compared to the “length in straws” of other students.  Some students were 7 straws long!
