Mrs. Kiley Stiller’s homeroom class at Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy proudly displays their anti-bullying pledges that state positive alternatives to bullying-like behavior.  Pledges will be put on display in the school cafeteria as a reminder that we all have options for showing our good character.   Sixth graders at the academy have begun a program called Raising Respect.  In weekly lessons with their homeroom class, students will explore topics such as bullying, empathy, conflict resolution, diversity and self-esteem.  This program, which includes resources for students, parents, teachers and non-classroom school staff, unites the community with a common definition and approach to bullying prevention.
