Students in Mrs. Knight’s CP, Honors Biology, and Falcon Academy classes competed in the 4th annual holiday tree decorating contest.  Each class was challenged with creating ornaments that represented the different units of study from the first semester.  Trees were themed with ornaments that depicted:  Classification and the Characteristics of Life, Biochemistry, DNA/RNA and Mutations, Cells and Cell Parts, Mitosis and Meiosis, and General Biology.

Pictured are the top 3 place trees:   Period 1: DNA/RNA and Mutations Period; Period 4: Biochemis-tree;  and Period 6: Cell Parts and Functions.  The trees and ornaments were judged by the AP Biology and AP Environmental Science class students.  Awards were given to the class with the best overall tree, and to the top ornaments on each tree from each class.
