Students in Mrs. Nikki Knight’s Honors Biology classes competed in a holiday tree decorating contest.  Each class was challenged with creating ornaments that represented the different units of study from the first semester.  Trees were themed with ornaments that depicted:  Classification and the Characteristics of Life, Bio-Chemistry, DNA/RNA and Mutations, Cells and Cell Parts, and Photosynthesis and Respiration.  

The trees and ornaments were judged by the AP Biology and AP Environmental Science class students.  Awards were given to the class with the best overall tree, and to the top three ornaments on each tree from each class.
